The staff was extremely friendly, as well as owner. The location turned out to be good, close enough to 80p by bus as well as reasonably priced cafes and pubs.

The hotel was a superb base for enjoying a secure area, near to the bus stop to the city and many buses to chose from, a peaceful area of Edinburgh and the best buses to take and what restaurants to go to. The location was great and the free parking was onsite. Plenty of food for breakfast, everything was good.
